Horizons Students Love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) >>
Right from the start, Horizons students engage in project-based, interactive experiences to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
From growing plants, building towers and bridges, and conducting experiments... to working with LEGO robotics and learning how to code, Horizons students are immersed in STEM activities that make learning fun.
When learning is fun, students learn! Every summer, Horizons students consistently demonstrate 8-12 weeks improved proficiency in math.
Many Horizons graduates say their exposure to STEM teaching increased their interest in math or science and helped to define their career choices.
